Who we are?
Who are we and where did it begin?
My name is Sarah and I was born in England and I grew up with an amazing Mum and sister and brother in a sleepy coastal town in the South. In my mid 30s, I decided to venture into the big wide world, she had taught me to live brave and be curious. I travelled extensively to around 40 countries over the next few years, and finally deciding to follow my adventurous spirit and immigrate to Sydney, Australia. Arriving with a suitcase of clothes on the cold and rainy 1st day of Winter, with nothing but hope to guide me. I was terrified but all I kept thinking was “What an incredible new start to recreate and shape the life of my making”.
Over the years, as I contemplated on my journeys across the globe, witnessing breathtaking, heartwarming, and painfully beautiful sights in every nook and cranny, I wanted every everyone to see and feel the things that I had. First and foremost I had become so inspired by the resilient, optimistic women of the world. The stories they told, the challenges they faced - and overcame, the hardships that they encountered and the miraculous way in which they flourished.
Women’s evolution in response to even the tiniest spark of assistance & initiative, was profound, even in the poorest and most dire of circumstances. A deep desire to help women developed and spurred me on, to find a way of contributing to their lives and success,
Women Inspire Travel was born
I witnessed the stark contrasts between opulence and destitution, revealing significant disparities in quality of life worldwide. Through volunteering at schools in Swaziland, helping to repair school desks, a place grappling with an AIDS crisis that claimed 30% of its population, it truly ignited a deep sense of purpose within me that has only intensified over the years.
Women Inspire Travel emerged as a vibrant platform to highlight these remarkable tales, aimed at raising awareness about inequalities and transforming the potential for women to make a difference through unity and a shared vision of dreams.
Travel unveils a kaleidoscope of cultures and my mission is to guide you on a journey of complete immersion. By the time you return home, you'll find yourself transformed, with compassion and a profound connection to both the country and the amazing people that you have visited. The dreams that we create for ourselves, feed directly into the lives of our sisters around the world. Every penny you spend through this website with my affiliate travel companies, ensure that 10% of all my profits go directly into these programs helping women.
